Challenge 39: Signs Of Me

Wow, the entries for Challenge 38 were beautiful, thank you all for playing along.

Usually we scrap our family, friends, pets, or even ourselves but today's challenge is a little but different and of course fun!
This challenge is to scrap your every day life.
Thinking outside the box, not just your family and friends but your real every day life.


Prompt: Multi Photo Layout-showing daily aspects of your life, signs of you from your home,
for example...your shoes by the back door, your wine glass on the table, your favorite books on the shelf, or your favorite CD ready to play in the player.
Technique: Doodle or write on your photograph.
Product: Use a photograph that has a reflection of you in it, a mirror image.

CHALLENGE 38: Embrace The Negative

Everyone loves their punches and die cutting machines and we all know what it's like to have leftover paper just sitting there after we use the beautiful punch. Let's all get creative and up-cycle those leftovers before tossing them aside!

Prompt:Using the negative paper left over from a punch - get creative and incorporate it into your layout - You can stencil through it, mask it, or make an embellishment out of it .
Technique: Stitching, faux or real
Product: Use a scallop circle journal spot.

Challenge 37: We're bringing Eyelets back!

Ok - so, its common knowledge that most of us have a dusty pack of eyelets somewhere, that used to take pride of place on your scrapping desk.. well.. go fetch them, blow the dust off, and embrace your eyelet setting skills once more!

Prompt:Bring out the eyelet love! Use at least 10 eyelets on a layout and get down with your old school self!
Technique: Doodle - Doodle a border or frame or swirls on your page
Product: find a way of sneaking in a Bird or Owl onto your page

Challenge #36: First Impressions

Have you ever read a book, and after reading the first line in the first chapter you've thought OMG this book is going to be captivating. I have to finish it tonight, the plot is so intriguing, who did it? Well this challenge we want you to create a layout that captures that first line.

Prompt: "First Impressions" - Using the first line of a book - eg: Jane Austin's Pride and Predjuice "IT is a truth universally acknowledged, that a single man in possession of a good fortune must be in want of a wife
Product: Paper with words on it
Technique: Paint washing - watered down paint to create a sutble paint effect.

Challenge 35: It's not easy being green

Its never been cooler to be GREEN right now, everyone is recycling trying to make Earth a cleaner planet. So we thought it would be fun to do our part by using packaging on your layouts. We can't wait to see what you all create. Check out our Divas

Challenge 34: White it out

When I think of Summer I think of weddings, and those amazing wedding dresses that just makes the bride a picture perfect. Well with that said I thought it would be fun to create a project using all white or cream on your layout. Yes it's a mnonchromatic layout. Oh this was one of the most challenging projects yet, for our Divas. As always they continue to amaze me. Can't wait to see your work.
